Shanghai Disney Resort Hotel (Toy Story Theme)

Shanghai Disneyland will have a hotel of the shape of "8", and its "Toy Story theme" is (almost) confirmed now.

The following picture was found on Shanghai News Net. 

As you may see, the entrance to the hotel will be sheltered by an orange structure (which, in my view, looks like "RC Racers"). The two gardens are reported to have "totally different designs", representing the concept of "Yin and Yang" in the Chinese culture.

The following are the plans for the walls of the hotel, found on "Shanghai Environment Online". The exterior of the hotel will be covered with glass panels (the different types of blue and green blocks shown in the pictures. The green panels represent glass panels that can be opened, which will probably be the windows in the guest rooms).

Shanghai Disneyland Administration Building Plan

A new plan was released for Shanghai Disneyland! However, this one is less exciting, as it is a triangle-shaped administration building located at the north-west corner of the resort.

But it's better than nothing, right?

Whip Killer (An One-page Comic Featuring Me)

This is an one-page comic featuring me. I did it just for fun. 

The basic concept is that a random person (played by me) encounters a killer (played by me as well) with a whip and is killed.

One Day in Hong Kong Disneyland (Part 2/2)

In the last part I visited Main Street U.S.A., Tomorrowland and Adventureland. This time ,we head to the back of the park to check out Grizzly Gulch, Mystic Point, Toy Story Playland and Fantasyland. 

As we pass by the Jungle Cruise's lake, we come across a path that leads us to Grizzly Gulch. It is true that Grizzly Mountain is a fairly short mountain, but it certainly does not fail to attract everyone's attention.

"Wreck-it Ralph" Is My New Favorite!

"Wreck-it Ralph" is my new favorite animation! It was on in Singapore on Dec 20.
As a gamer, I was crying throughout the show. At first the tears are for the familiar characters I saw from different games (Bowser, PAC-MAN and so on). Later I was moved by the Sugar Rush sequence as well.

I could't be more excited about the sequel to it, as there is report that, the one and only, Mario may be joining in!

Let's Play Puzzle! (The Whole Shanghai Disney Resort)

Today I came up with this idea that I should place all the released (or leaked) plans together to find out how the whole resort will look like. This will be updated when new plans are released in the future. This is the first map I put together!

To my great surprise, the first phase of Shanghai Disneyland, though is already quite large, only occupies about half of the land reserved for the first park!
This is of course fantastic news, as the park will not worry about room for expansion.
It thrills me to think about how enormous the park will be when it's fully expanded.
